What's included in your WordPress website maintenance plan?
Our WordPress Hosting & Maintenance plan, or Technical Support, includes hosting for your website, regular updates, infrastructure support & uptime monitoring, a security centric website, built for speed, and powered by Digital Oceans Cloud Platform through WPMU, a staging site, daily backups, an SSL certificate, proactive hack and malware removal, and much more!
You can also request monthly reports with all your key website metrics.
Will you troubleshoot broken plugins/themes? Will you work directly with plugin developers to find a fix?
Yes, we will troubleshoot and investigate any WordPress conflicts or any plugin that Frontline supports. We will also work directly with the plugin developer on your behalf.
Frontline knows WordPress, and we are here to make sure your website is always running smoothly, and ensure plugins are operating as intended.
What if I’ve registered my website (domain) name with GoDaddy or another company? Can I still have Frontline maintain it?
Yes, you can. You own the rights to your domain name, so Frontline will work with your domain name provider to conduct a DNS update prior to activating your new website. It is a simple technical step that ensures your domain name (which can be registered with GoDaddy, Domain.com, Bluehost, etc.) connects with our servers where your website is hosted.
Some support plans will require that we connect your DNS with our management software so we can provide an extra layer of protection, but you will always be able to hold your own domain.
How do you keep websites up to date?
We have a team of WordPress experts keeping your site up to date.
Here is an overview of the update process:

- Update WordPress core, theme, and all plugins on the staging site
- Run our laundry list of tests, and track bugs and issues
- Apply fixes to issues and re-run tests

We do offer high availability (HA) hosting, as well as an SLA-backed 99.9% uptime guarantee. We can make this SLA thanks to the flexibility of our container-based infrastructure, proactive load management by the WPMU Engineering team, and the use of a best-in-class cloud provider in Digital Ocean.
What reliability/security measures do you have in place to protect my site?
We take security extremely seriously at Frontline and have a number of measures deployed and planned. Some security measures are active by default and some can be activated upon request.

- Installing SSL certificates – the first step for improving security on a website
- Activating 2FA – any WordPress user account can be configured with 2FA upon request
- Enabling HTTP security headers – available on all websites upon request
- reCAPTCHA spam protection – to protect your site against unwanted bot and spam entries

Are there any server limitations?
We have just two limitations, on-disk space and site visits.
Dedicated Resources
- You get 25GB of disk space for your website. This is sufficient for 99% of all sites we host, with the average site size being 0.5GB.
- 1GB of Memory with an additional 1GB of swap for those busy days.
- 1 CPU dedicated just for you.
- Dedicated IP address that is never shared with anyone else.
- We can always upgrade your server resources to accommodate an increase in demand. If its temporary, its on us. If its needed for more than a few days, we’ll discuss options for the upgrade!

Can I access the SFTP for my site?
No. In order to keep your site secure and functional, we do not allow our clients to access the SFTP for their site.
If you need to access your SFTP for any reason, send us an email and we’ll make sure your objective is met!
Am I able to use my own hosting provider?
Yes, we can support websites we don’t host, but we cannot guarantee certain features, such as:
- Monthly WordPress updates – Core, plugin and theme files updates every month by human testers
- Hack fix guarantee – If your site is compromised while hosted with us, we’ll fix it for free

- The credentials to access your website dashboard will be securely kept in Frontline’s password manager platform and shared with our team to ensure that all Pronto agents can access your website.
